Gary Keller, a well-known figure in the real estate world, gave a presentation on Inman that I thought was very insightful. During the presentation, he drew two circles on a flip chart and labeled one “Physical” and the other one “Digital.” He said, “Every day physically-based businesses wake up and ask the question, ‘What is the least I have to do digitally to protect my physically-based business?’” And, “digitally-based businesses wake up every day and ask the question, ‘what is the least I can do in the physical space to kick your digital butt?’”
